StarCraft II Gameboard Let's You Play on Your iPad/Touch/Phone

If you follow me on Twitter, you would notice that I am obsessed with StarCraft II.  So much so that I quite literally have not played another game, unless I happen to be in the company of someone who doesn't yet own it.  Developer Daniel Hellerman is probably just as obsessed as I am, because he's creating the StarCraft II Gameboard, an i(insert Apple product here) app that turns your Apple touch screen device into a remote control for the game.

Epic Mickey Collector's Edition

One of the only Wii games I've been looking forward to all year is Disney's Epic Mickey.  At E3 we got to watch some footage of the game, and it is one of the most artistically pleasing games I've ever seen.  If you're really looking forward to the game though, the Collector's Edition was just announced and it has some cool aesthetic skins for your Wii.  The package includes a Mickey figure, a behind-the-scenes DVD, and the aforementioned Wii and Wiimote skin.  You can check out a pic of the entire package after the break.

Halo: Reach Armor Effects Revealed

If it isn't already obvious, I'm insanely excited for Halo: Reach.  When I got to play the beta, there was a limited amount of armor customization (shoulder pads, chest armor, helmets, etc).  With the full package, Bungie has released some hardcore armor effects that will make any Halo fan a little uncomfortable in the pants.

Modern Warfare 2's Mr_No_Kills

When I heard about Mr_No_Kills, Glen McCracken, I thought, "What a BAMF."  Then thought a couple seconds more and said, "What the hell is wrong with this guy?"  Mr_No_Kills is a PS3 Modern Warfare 2 player who made the goal to kill not one person, and achieve level 70.

Mega Man MMO Trailer Looks Epic

I've been a pretty big Mega Man fan since I was but a wee lad.  Amusingly enough, I only ever beat Mega Man X8.  So I fail a little/lot, but whatever.  This week, a trailer for the upcoming Mega Man Online MMO hit the interwebs and it looks like everything I ever wanted from a Mega Man game.

No KH: Birth by Sleep for PSP Go

L. O. Freakin. L.  The PSP Go is generally viewed as a pretty failed system; the price tag, lack of UMD, and design all contribute to the lack of sales.  But on top of that, the PSP isn't exactly everyone's favorite handheld either because of a lack of games.

YMBMO: Project Euler

Do you like puzzles? Many do! Do you like programming? Not as many people do! Do you like programming puzzles? If you’re in the intersection of the Venn diagrams of “Puzzle lover” and “Programming lover,” then this article is for you! This week in YMBMO, enter Project Euler!

This is Cool: Portal's Still Alive Slowed Down 800%

Yes, you read that right, everyone's favorite video-game-related song, "Still Alive," (from the credits of Portal, not that you didn't know that already) has been slowed down 800% by soundcloud.com user Xihilisk. Check it out below, or by following that link, although be prepared to have 23 minutes to kill. Seriously.

Resistance 3 in 2011

And that is literally just about all we know about this game.  Insomniac released a live-action trailer over in Germany last week, but it really doesn't tell you a whole lot about the story or gameplaye.  I personally have not played the first couple of games yet, but will hopefully do so before Resistance 3 drops.  What do you guys think?  About the lack of information.  Because I guess there really isn't anything else to think about.  Gamescom 2010 trailer after the break.

Two New Halo: Reach Trailers

Within the 8th, I'm probably the biggest Halo fan, probably because I'm a bro-douche bag who sits around taking pictures with my ladies.  So when I heard that they were making new live-action trailers for Reach, my pants got more than a little uncomfortable.

Dedicated Servers, Modding and Dev Consoles, Oh My

You guys and gals might remember a little game called Modern Warfare 2.  Heck, you might even still be playing it, but do you remember the controversy over the PC version not including dedicated servers?  Yeah, you probably do, especially you PC folk out there.  Well worry no more!  Treyarch announced that along with dedicated servers, Black Ops will allow for mods and dev consoles.

Portal 2 Co-op Trailer

So I was one of those guys and gals who picked up the free copy of Portal when Steam was released for Macs.  After playing the game for something like 4 hours straight, my brain was fried but I loved the game just like everyone said I would.  When I heard Portal 2 would have co-op my brain instantly went, "WhattheAwesome!?!"

Scott Pilgrim Game Soundtrack Available

If you enjoyed Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game, like some of use did, you might have taken notice of Anamanaguchi's delightful 8-bit soundtrack playing in the background.  If you didn't enjoy it, you can go light yourself on fire for a couple minutes.  For the rest of you, the soundtrack is now available for download.

Review: Wah Do Dem

Wah Do Dem (I’m still not sure how to pronounce that, but I think It’s something close to What Do Them) is a coming-of-age story set in 2008 during the US Presidential Elections. This film was sent to me in a clear plastic DVD case, with a white DVD that had the words “Wah Do Dem” written on it. Needless to say, I knew almost nothing about the film going into it.

New Gamescom Epic Mickey Cinematic Trailer

I haven't been able to follow Gamescom as much as I would have liked to this week, but today I noticed this on my Twitter and had to check it out.  I expected a short video, maybe a couple minutes, but instead got almost five minutes worth of cinematic footage.  While I suspect this video is just the beginning cinematic for Epic Mickey, it's still looks really cool.  I despise the Wii with a passion, but this game is making me think about dusting off (literally) my system.  Check out the video after the break.
