Avatar Screenplay Available Online
While various drafts and treatments have been making their rounds on the internet for quite some time now, Fox has gone ahead and officially posted the Avatar screenplay online. Dated 2007 and including a number of cut scenes, it's an interesting read for those who enjoyed the movie and are interested to see what got left on the cutting room floor. Especially intriguing are the scenes on Earth introducing us to Jake Sully, a scene with one of the Na'vi schools and the... interesting, sex scene. Enjoy.
Review: Old Man Logan Hardcover Collection
Or: Mr. Logan Literally Goes To Town, Old School
This story of Wolverine 50 years in the future, from Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, was one that I meant to get as it came out. Through pure ignorance and sheer laziness I struggled to follow the series' monthly release schedule and was reduced to waiting for the inevitable hardcover collection to be released. Luckily the hardcover was well worth the wait.
Tekken Movie Gets a Trailer
Well this is... interesting. The trailer for the upcoming Tekken film adaptation has just been released, and I am not impressed. Not only did they make dramatic changes from the vague, loose plot of the games (to be fair, I'm not actually sure how bad this really is), but where's King? Where's King mothalovas?! Besides, the trailer just oozes B-movie, and not in a good way. Check it out below, and turn off the annotations, that's just obnoxious.

Sony Gets Their Spider-Man Directors Lined Up
We all know Sony moved pretty quickly to fire Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire from Spider-Man 4 after talks broke down so they could implement James Vanderbilt's new script that re-boots the series.
This is Fun: Twilight: Modern Warfare 2 Trailer
Between the Modern Warfare and Twilight franchises, there's a literal holy f%#$-ton of money that's been made. And according to G4, in the interest of making more money, it would only make sense that the two were combined... right? Guns and glitter galore below:
TF2: Contribute!
It has apparently occured to the TF2 team that there are those out there who are good at making items and avatars, perhaps even better than people who design the game... Therefore, they have decided to accept fan-made hats, weapons and avatars. If they like it, you'll have the item added to your backpack, and cycled into the random item drops. In addition, a gallery for the contributed content is on its way, allowing the community to vote on its favorites. Sounds pretty cool to me! So to all of you would-be designers out there, get on it!
DVD Deal: Eastbound and Down for only $13
The first season of the HBO comedy, Eastbound & Down is on sale today at $12.99, 57% off. The series follows Kenny Powers, played by Danny McBride (Up in the Air, Tropic Thunder), a former MLB star who has fallen on tough times, and returns home to teach middle school PE. I'll admit I've never seen a single episode of the series, so I can't offer any sort of recommendation. Tom Shales of the Washington Post enjoyed it however, saying, "Working something of a miracle, Danny McBride, who plays Kenny and is one of the creative talents behind the show premiering tomorrow on HBO--the most recklessly funny comedy of the year--makes us kind of like Kenny Powers." Works for me. Check out the deal while it's still valid here

Satoru Iwata Speaks, Whole World Takes Notice
Well at least the whole of the video game world does, seeing as Mr. Iwata is the head of quite possibly the biggest video game company at the moment, Nintendo. He's the type of guy you can always make time for and needless to say, when he decided to talk to Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun about the company’s goals for 2010, people certainly listened.

Transformers: War for Cybertron Trailer is Insane
The folks over at IGN have been given the privilege of debuting the full reveal trailer for High Moon Studios new game Transformers: War for Cybertron. IGN have been brandishing around slogans like "2010s Batman Arkham Asylum?" and while I'm not quite convinced the game will be that good it is certainly an impressive trailer.
Ivan Reitman Signs on for Ghostbusters 3
According to an article over at Cinematical, Ivan Reitman, the director of the first two films in the series, has confirmed his directorial role in the planned Ghostbusters 3 film. Apparently Josh Horowitz from MTV threw a couple of Ghostbusters-3-related questions his way, and Reitman gave a couple of answers. Add on to that the speculation that even Rick Morranis might be coming back for the third installment, and you've got the whole crew back for this one. You can catch the full interview at MTV's Movie Blog, here.

This is Fun: Skynet Symphonic

Well, he's back at it again, only this time he's using the highly celebrated Terminator 2 to create what he calls the Skynet Symphonic. Check it out after the jump.
