This is Awesome: Toy Story Artwork
Toy Story is one of the most beloved franchises ever. Whether it's the characters, the voices, the story, or what; it's just a great series. So great infact that it's worthy of it' own fan art, that great tradition that can sometimes spawn complete awesomeness and/or catastrophe. Luckily, the fan art in this post is more on the awesome side.
Review: Toy Story 3
Ok, I know a while back I wrote an article ranting on the prevalence of sequels in animation and I know I’m writing a review on Toy Story 3, but I am not going to be like Armond White, the most hated critic on the planet, and rip the movie for nonsensical reasons. On the contrary, I thought Toy Story 3 was a brilliant cap to the amazing trilogy and honestly one of the most heartbreaking animated movies I have had the pleasure of seeing.
E3 2010: Toy Story 3 Flash Mob
So apparently there was a Toy Story 3 flash mob at E3... how in the heck did I miss that? Let's see, Tuesday the 15th at 11:45? That places me squarely... nowhere in particular. Which begs the questions, where was I and what was I doing? I have no idea. Man... cocaine's a hell of a drug. Check out the flash mob below though, the level of choreography is actually pretty impressive.
Toy Story and Google Team-Up
Pixar and Google recently collaborated on this commercial, featuring the voice cast of Toy Story 3 having some fun with web searches. "Andy’s going to college. The toys are nervous. In the meantime, they discover Google." It's a good time all around, check it out below:
This is Fun: Toy Story Meets Inception
Toy Story 3 and Christopher Nolan's Inception, a match made in heaven right? Wrong. Wait no, the first one. It seems a strange pair, but ScreenRant's Mike Eisenbergmade it work. And by that I mean he worked the hell out of this crossover trailer; it's pretty much awesome. Check it out, both films come out this Summer.
Cool Video: Is This a Viral for Toy Story 3?
This video, claiming to be a TV ad circa 1983, advertises a toy called the "Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear." Coincidentally, Pixar's Toy Story 3 features a stuffed bear named Lotso. Could this "ad" actually be a piece of viral marketing for the upcoming film?
Final Poster for Toy Story 3
The Toy Story trilogy comes to an endon June 18th. Can't wait? Here's the final movie poster for you to oggle at in the meantime, enjoy!
New Pixar Short Uncovered: Night And Day
Yesterday, a photo emerged of Up production designer Ricky Nierva standing in front of some very interesting concept art. Interesting namely because it involves dinosaurs. An anonymous source (unreliable, but in this case, plausible) has tipped off Slashfilm that the art is for an upcoming Pixar short film titled Night and Day, and presumably attached to Toy Story 3. According to the source, Teddy Newton, a storyboard artist on The Iron Giant and character designer for The Incredibles and Presto, is making his Pixar directorial debut on this project.

Second Toy Story 3 Trailer Released!
I am pretty convinced that deep down inside, every child of the 90s is excited for Toy Story 3, and for good reason. This newest trailer gives us a good look at the characters of Sunnyside Daycare Center including Ned Beatty as Lots-O'-Huggin' Bear, Michael Keaton as Ken (Barbie makes a return as well), and Bonnie Hunt as an adorable dinosaur. Toy Story is set for a June 18, 2010 release date. Check out the trailer below!
Toy Story 3 Clip Online
It might not be in 3D (or HQ for that matter), but this Toy Story 3 clip is still pretty great. The animation and design is Pixar (read: awesome), and there's a bit in it that harkens back to a moment from Toy Story 2 that works really well in my opinion. Check it out below and let me know what you think:
