Black Dynamite to become an Animated Series

There's a very unsilent minority here at the 8th that just can't get enough of Michael Jai White and director Scott Sanders' blaxploitation parody, Black Dynamite. Luckily for us, and for those of you who are in the same boat, it looks like we'll be getting our fill of 70s-style Kung-Fu ass-kicking long after the film's theatrical release.

Latino Review broke the news that Black Dynamite will be made into an animated series airing on Cartoon Network. This undoubtedly means Adult Swim and that means: freaking awesome! White told press today that one of the guys behind The Boondocks will be heading up the series.

That's all the info I have right now, but really, that's all I need to hear to be super pumped for an animated Black Dynamite wearing a hundred-dollar suit and driving a thousand-dollar car.
