Clash of The Titans Trailer

The first trailer for the epic Clash of the Titans has hit the web today. The film, which opens March 26 2010, has an all-star cast including Ralph Fiennes as Hades, Liam Neeson as Zeus, Sam Worthington as the hero Perseus and Pete Posselthwaite. The trailer is another example of the use of hard rock music to make something seem even more kick arse than it already is. It's a short, flashy trailer that jumps from action scene to action scene while throwing in brief glimpses of Liam Neeson as a bearded, armour clad Zeus and a variety of gorgeous scenery. The trailer also has plenty of giant scorpions and, well, what is better than a giant scorpion? The trailer has certainly impressed me and shows no signs of the terrible 1981 Clash of the Titans. Hopefully there will be another, longer, trailer that will give us a better glimpse at the story and some of the other main characters ie more than a tiny glimpse of the gods, but this one will certainly get your heart pumping and your interest piqued.

I love seeing adult-oriented fantasy films get a nice, healthy budget. However, I have one correction to your article: the 80s Clash of the Titans was AMAZING :P

Haha well each to their own :P. Seriously though could there be a more bad ass collection of gods, Ralph Fiennes as Hades, Liam Neeson as Zeus and Danny Huston as Poseidon :O

was the tagline seriously "titans will clash?" yes, we figured that out from the title, we already know that.
the 80's Clash of the Titans was awesome. I agree with Genki. If Ray Harryhausen was dead, he'd be rolling in his grave. Well, maybe not, as the movie looks pretty decent.
