Cop Out Gets a Trailer

Kevin Smith's latest film, which used to be called A Couple of Dicks, but now bears the oh-so-clever title Cop Out, recently had a trailer released. The trailer starts out leading the viewer on to think that the movie is a serious cop drama, before dropping a couple of jokes. It definitely made me chuckle, and I'm pretty excited for the film; check it out after the jump.

When I saw this trailer in theaters, my thought during the end of the trailer was this: "Oh this looks like it'll blow - wait is that Kevin Smith's name in the Director's credit?" I don't know... the trailer gave me a couple of giggles, but I've never really been a fan of this 'tough-white-guy-silly-black-guy-buddy-cop' genre. I can usually trust Kevin Smith though (then again... there's always "Jersey Girl," ugh...)
