Long Awaited Return: New Derrick Comedy Short

Derrick Comedy has got to be one of the sharpest and most downright hilarious sketch comedy groups on the web. However, they've been so busy producing and promoting their feature debut Mystery Team, that they haven't released a short in almost two years. Luckily, the wait is over. "Boy Band", which premiered at the Alamo Drafthouse's national premiere of their feature, is now available on youtube. Check out the short below, and read on after that for details on how you can demand that Mystery Team appear in your town or city.

For the past month, Derrick Comedy has been asking fans to "demand" Mystery Team's presence in their area. Roadside Films has now just announced the cities that the film will be hitting up this holiday season. If you're not near any of them, not to worry, as Derrick has promised that that the theatrical release will continue to spread into the new year. That doesn't mean you can procrastinate though, so if you want to see this movie, I suggest demanding it asap!

The four new cities receiving the film are:

• 11/13/09 - Phoenix, AZ - Harkins Valley Art Theater
• 12/4/09 - New York, NY - Quad Cinemas
• 12/11/09 - Albequerque, NM - The Guild Cinema - MIDNIGHT SHOWS
• 2/4/10 - Chicago, IL - Music Box

Not on the list? As I stated before, it's not to late, but hurry! Rally your friends, your family, that weird guy who stands around behind the 7-11. It's worth it, trust me.
