No, I'm serious. In Marvel's continued expansion, now that it’s under the Disney umbrella, the company has just announced Marvel Television, a new division tasked with creating small-screen versions of the Marvel catalog of heroes. According to the Hollywood Reporter, writer Jeph Loeb will head up the division.
Loeb, who has worked on comics (Batman: The Long Halloween and Daredevil: Yellow) and TV shows (Lost and Heroes), will oversee the development of not only animated Marvel TV shows, but, more importantly, live-action TV shows. Loeb will be joined in this endeavor by Dan Buckly, Marvel's publisher and president of print, animation, and digital division.
There are no details yet as to what the first projects will be, but the chances of seeing your favorite Marvel character on the big or small screen has increased exponentially. Marvel is still pursuing a variety of films based on their characters and the creation of Marvel TV will further open up the catalog. What we could see is a show, after a successful run on Marvel TV, being adapted as a film after it’s proven to have an audience for the character.
The creation of Marvel TV could be a perfect platform for some of the other hero squads based in the Marvel universe. We could see the development of an Inhumans, Thunderbolts, or Young Avengers TV show. What could make a really good TV show is the private investigator based Heroes for Hire storyline, headed up by Luke Cage and Daniel Rand (Ironfist). Anyway, what Marvel characters would you like to see get their own show on Marvel TV?

I kinda want to see some light hearted / humorous titles... like, I dunno, I kinda feel like sometimes the makers feel the need to make titles so drama-laden? so more of a mix of drama, action and comedy might be refreshing
as for the picture... a deadpool tv cartoon could work with a good writer (although I would def want a strong supporting cast too... someone to facepalm or WTF on the side?)
I think it would be cool to see like an adult Deadpool comic that's quite crude and violent but still classic Deadpool. He's not really one for the little ones so to see Marvel push the boundaries with something like that could be quite cool.
Heroes for Hire has the capacity to be a bit more light hearted affair some of the time because of its case by case basis, they could definetley shake things up a bit every now and then
I agree about the deadpool comment. I guess he could be the parent bonus in a younger audience show but that would be a waste
oh, I've never read that series, but I think I've heard good things about it
