Official Nominations for the 30th Annual Razzie Awards

Everyone loves a bad movie every once in a while, they're fun to point and laugh at and joke around about. Some movies, though, are just so bad that they deserve some kind of an award for how bad they are. That's where the Razzies (or Golden Raspberry Awards, as they are officially known) come in. Thoughts: Overall I'd say that this seems like a pretty good summary of the bad movies that came out in 2009. Thankfully I somehow managed to avoid seeing most of these, but I am glad to see that The Twilight Saga: New Moon has so many nominations (4 total), because it shows that, despite what some people might say, it really was a terrible movie. I have avoided it like the plague, so no further comments on that one.

The other movie that I'm glad to see nominated a lot is the god-awful Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, with an amazing(?) 7 nominations (tied only with Land of the Lost for most nominations this year). I really hope that Transformers 2 and Michael Bay get everything they deserve, as you might remember, the 8th has stated not once, but twice just how bad this film is.

Now, this year the Razzies are also doing a "worst of the decade" thing, so you can check out the list for that below. I don't have much to say on it, for the most part I agree with their decisions, although I do have to ask, why is Superbabies:Baby Geniuses 2 not on this list?
