Riddler in Batman 3, Joseph Gordon-Levitt to Play?

So, are you tired of all the Batman 3 rumors yet? Well, sucks for you, because I'm not. Here's an almost credible one, hot on the heels of the release of Nolan's latest. FirstShowing recently reported, according to insider info leaked to them, indicated that a studio casting grid for Batman 3 had the character of "The Riddler" listed. In addition, Joseph Gordon-Levitt was there as a primary candidate, and marked as "interested."

FirstShowing was quick to point out however, that we shouldn't take this as a sure sign that Levitt will be cast, but it is a good indication that the Riddler will be present. Assuming of course, that FS's source is reliable.

The Riddler has long been speculated as a likely villain for the third film, and I feel like it could be a great match for the film (character and actor) if done right. That is, if Nolan doesn't play it too close to Heath Ledger's Joker.
