Sponsored : TV Sure is Expensive

TV's a lot of fun, from Spongebob to iCarly (errmm, I mean, from Breaking Bad to Battlestar... of course), there's plenty to love on the ol' boob tube. Unfourtunately though... TV aint free. In fact, it can be pretty freakin' expensive. Paying for TV content is such a pain in the ass in fact, it sometimes doesn't even seem worth. There have been months I admit, when I've seriously considered losing my TV subscription all together. But, we pay for it anyways, because what would we do without our Disney Channel (burn things, that's what)?

But seriously, who doesn't hate paying your TV provider's bills? And before you even get to that point you have to pick a provider (if you have any options at all), and on top of that you've got to pay for your premium channels, HD content, PPV stuff and the works. That's a lot of money!! It can be a major pain in the ass for someone, especially if they've just moved, to pick a service provider, choose their options, and most of all, pay for it all!

Luckily though, there's some resources out there to help guys like us out. Unfourtunately, even those can be difficult to track down; and differentiating between real information and advertisement is another challenge unto itself.

For those of us on the satellite side of things, there are direct sat tv info to be found at directsattv.com. And for some info you should know about tv pricing, that resource should do you proud.

Happy surfing
