Street Fighter vs Tekken Announced

So that's totally awesome and crazy. But after we heard this, me and some of the editors sat there and wondered, "How the hell is that gonna work?"  

While it sounds like one of the most amazing crossovers a fighting game could possibly receive, Street Fighter has always been in 2D while Tekken has been in 3D. How are they even compatible? While the SF EX series was in 3D, it wasn't as well received by fans of the 2D titles. Not a lot has been revealed, but the game is supposed to come out on both the 360 and PS3. So what do you guys think?
