Captain America Finds Its Villain
... And it's Hugo Weaving. The Hollywood Reporter got the exclusive scoop that Weaving is currently in talks to play the villain in the Joe Johnston directed film. And while the deal is in a 'delicate' place, there should be some sort of announcement in the next few days.
John Krasinski Cast as Captain America?
The ever reliable Fox News network, through Fox 411, are reporting that their Marvel insiders have it on good authority that the lovable star of The Office, albeit a questionable sentinel of liberty, is oh so close to securing the role of Steve Rodgers in Joe Johnston's upcoming First Avenger: Captain America.
Iron Man 2 Gets a Badass New Trailer
I shouldn't even have to write anything to convince you to watch this trailer. But if, for whatever strange reason, you need motivation to check out two and a half minutes of badassery... let me just say, Iron Man and War Machine fighting robots! Yeah!

Review: Alice in Wonderland
If years ago someone had asked me who I would like to see adapt Alice in Wonderland into a live action film, I would have said Tim Burton. I doubt, however, that I would have said Linda Woolverton would do the screenplay. Her background in animation (Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, Mulan) makes her great for a Disney animated remake, but she’s not quirky enough for a Burtonesque film. This is reflected in the movie, where the direction is strong and the script is weak. If you’re a Tim Burton fan you'll like it, otherwise you won’t.
Seriously: Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
I'm sure that, by now, you've heard of the classic literary mash-ups like Pride and Prejudice and Zombies or Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters. The books, described as quirky classics, have been best sellers, but they haven't exactly garnered universal praise. With each new entry there seems to be a whole lot of people going 'huh? It's a what? I'm sorry I'm not dressed so I didn't understand.' I'm predicting that the latest entry, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, will probably get the same reaction. Some people will love it and others will just sit there and say "That's actually a book?" Soon, though, you'll also have to be saying "That's a movie?" as Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov have picked up the rights to the book on its release day.
Anaheim Hoping to Steal Comic-Con
For anyone who's been to Comic-Con, the largest gathering of its kind in the Western Hemisphere, you already know of the massive number of attendees, the nonexistent hotel rooms, and the general hassle of moving through the packed convention center. With 126,000 fans crammed into the San Diego Convention Center, organizers have run out of exhibitor space and attendees are without hotel room prospects. A proposal to expand the Convention Center has been endorsed by citizens of the area, but there are currently no plans to implement this idea. With these issues in mind, it's no surprise that there's talk of moving the convention from it's birthplace in San Diego.
This is Fun: Wolfman and Universal Get PWNED by Twilight Fan
Did you hear that Universal? You should be ashamed of yourselves as you've just been owned by a die-hard Twilight and Taylor Lautner fan, Kayla Patterson. Patterson wrote in to Universal complaining about the film's attempts to rip-off Twilight and the wolfpack that Lautner is a part in his role as Jacob. That's right Universal, even noobs like Patterson can tell that you are a bunch of hacks and not the original bearers of werewolves on our...oh wait Universal were the first people to bring werewolves to our screens and they were violent, blood thirsty and awesome, the epitome of man giving into his most animalistic tendencies; not shirtless pretty boys. Read on and enjoy the unedited ramblings that are Kayla Patterson putting Universal in its place.

Or: From Hiroyuki Takei and STAN LEE
Karakuridōji Ultimo is the latest manga series from writer/artist Hiroyuki Takei, of Shaman King fame. Ultimo, as it will be called from here on out, was co-created with the esteemed Stan Lee, and if you don’t know who Stan Lee is, you should just stop reading now.
Tim Robbins To Play Dad in Green Lantern
That's dad to Peter Sarsgaard's Dr. Hector Hammond not Ryan Reynold's Hal Jordan. Heat Vision Blog broke the news today that Robbins will play Hammond's father, Senator Hammond. Not much is known about the character Senator Hammond. All that has been established so far is that he is constantly displeased with his son who can never really seem to impress him. That long-standing disapproval should end up as one of the catalyst's for young Dr. Hector Hammond's turn to more evil ventures which are then amplified by his discovery of a meteorite that grants him psychic powers.
