Deus Ex Gameplay Looks Freaking Fantastic
Oh man, put all my doubts about this game to rest! The atmosphere, the weapons, the visuals; so awesome... I'm a huge fan of the first two games, so my bar for this one was already set pretty high. Luckily though, this game might just impress even me. If the whole experience looks this good, well, I don't want to get my expectations too high...
Force Unleashed II Cutscenes Reveal Yoda, Boba Fett
The Leipzig Games Convention is in full swing and two new videos for The Force Unleashed II have been revealed. The two short cinematics taken from the game aren't much, and don't contain any gameplay, but they do show off cameos from two of Star Wars's biggest names. Check them out below, SW: TFU2 comes out on October 26 of this year.
Battlestar Galactica Online Cast Screenshots
When I first heard Battlestar Galactica would be getting an MMO, I was intrigued. Then, horrified to learn it would be a browser based game. Then, curious to see how the Unity Engine works on a game of this scale. At least, I hope it's an ambitious scale, considering how epic the source material is. At the very least now, we have our first official look at the game.
Skyline Trailer: The New Film from the Strause Brothers
Skyline is the latest film from the Strause brothers, the guys behind Alien vs. Predator Requiem. Requiem was a terrible movie, enough to make you never want to see a Strause brothers film again. Which brings us to Skyline. Does it have enough about it to win over audiences?
Call of Duty: Black Ops Multiplayer Teaser
While Medal of Honor seems to trying its hardest to unseat Black Ops comes this Fall, it doesn't look like they're doing all to great of a job. Especially when you consider how awesome this multiplayer teaser for CoD is.
Monday Night Combat: Developer Walkthrough Contains Traces of Bacon
Monday Night Combat is a class-based third-person shooter in the mold of Team Fortress 2. Some people have previously commented that Uber Entertainment's game looks a little too much like TF2, but this latest developer walkthrough shows there are a lot of differences. For example, the fact that TF2 is bacon-less, while Monday Night Combat has bacon high-fiving an ammo casing, awesome!
Comic Con: Avengers Teaser Trailer
Marvel's Hall H panel at Comic-Con this year featured, among other things, a very brief teaser for The Avengers film. It obviously doesn't have any footage (the screenplay is not even finished yet), just Samuel L. Jackson narrating over the Avengers logo coming together.
New Looney Tunes Clip: Coyote Falls
Looney Tunes cartoons rock. Even decades after they first aired they manage to entertain like no other cartoon can. Unfortunately, Warner Bros. hasn't had much luck replicating the success of the classic cartoons in the modern era. The Space Jam and Looney Tunes: Back In Action films, which mixed animation and live action, were underwhelming when compared to the classic cartoons (although Space Jam has a certain awesome quality all to its own). Warner Bros. hasn't given up the hope that they'll find the right mix though, and that brings us to the new Looney Tunes animated theatrical shorts.
Scott Pilgrim vs the Animation to Air August 12th
I've been hearing some pretty solid rumors that Adult Swim was well underway producing an animated prequel/companion piece to Edgar Wright's upcoming adaptation of Scott Pilgrim. Today however, we have actual, tangible proof that work on the show is pretty much done. The end result is a four-minute piece that follows a flaskback scene from the second book wherein Pilgrim meets Lisa Miller and Kim Pine, the latter of whom would go on to become the drummr in his band.
