Shogun 2: Total War Gameplay Cinematic
I don't really know what a gameplay cinematic is. I'm assuming, based on the information provided, that it's a trailer that uses the actual in-game graphics engine instead of prerendered footage. I'm sure I've seen them in action before, and have just never known the name for them. Anyway, if that's the case, then Shogun 2: Total War has a mindblowingly awesome in-game engine, judging by this trailer.
Thor Trailer Leaked, Watch it While You Can!
The trailer for Marvel's Thor debuted in Hall H at Comic-Con last weekend, and while we're not really supposed to be able to... it's now available online for the rest of us to see. You're going to want to hurry though, as this probably won't last too long. Check it out below, courtesy of some anonymous leaker through Megavideo:
Titanic 2 Movie Trailer, Seriously (Sorta)
Well, sort of... This is in fact a movie trailer for a film titled Titanic 2. It does not however have anything to do with James Cameron (no matter how much I wish it did).
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Short Film Teaser
A teaser for Ubisoft's live action short film based on the upcoming game, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, has debuted online with the title Ghost Recon: Alpha. The short film, which is being directed by Francois Alaux and Herve De Cercy, will be released at the same time as the game. Ubisoft recently announced that the game is being pushed back to the first quarter of 2011, and the trailer shows that the short has followed suit.
Comic-Con: Dead Space 2 Preview
On the final day of Comic-Con, while wandering around the streets of San Diego, I spotted an EA sign pointing towards a random building. As I got closer, I saw Dead Space 2 and Dragon Age 2 signs posted and said, "What the hell?" and walked over to said random building. Where Necromorphs proceeded to stab me in the face.
Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Fighter - More Details
The Capcom panel at Comic-Con is slowly making me more and more bitter that I missed it. In the previous post, I wanted to know how exactly a Street Fighter vs Tekken game would work, simply because of the 2D vs 3D aspect. How about making two games?
First Taste of Daft Punk in Tron: Legacy
In addition to being responsible for the music of Disney's upcoming Tron: Legacy, Daft Punk also sports a scene in the film, playing music at the End of Line club. Over Comic-Con, a new picture surfaced that appears to be a display featuring the duo's costumes. In addition, six tracks have surfaced on French blog StoptheNoise that claim to be from the Daft Punk score. Obviously, it's impossible to confirm or deny that they are without seeing the film/official word from Disney, but they do sound pretty similar to the stuff in the trailers. Check out both below.
Warhammer 40k: Space Marine Coming to PC
I've been looking for a reason to write something about this game for a while now, and I've finally got one. In a press release issued today, THQ and Relic have revealed that their upcoming third person shooter based in the Warhammer 40k universe will not only be shipping for the 360 and PS3, but it will also be coming to the PC.
Sucker Punch Trailer is Absolutely Nuts
Anyone who was lucky enough to attend Warner Bro's Hall H panel at Comic-Con this year got a first look at Zack Snyder's next film that has nothing to do with owls. I wasn't there myself, but I expect a fair amount of pants crapping and/or confused, wide eyed stares occured. I mean, what the hell is this movie even about?
Comic-Con: Master Chief Returning in Bungie-less Halo 4?
343 Industries head Frank O'Connor reassured the crowd of Halo fans at Comic Con (via IGN), and around the world, that even though Bungie won't be at the helm of future Halo games that doesn't mean that the series most iconic character will be heading into the wilderness. O'Connor told fans at the convention that "We'd have to be the world's biggest a**holes not to follow through," O'Connor said. "We certainly haven't seen the last of Master Chief."
