Duke Nukem: Nothing Wrong?
The other day we posted an article, from Wired, which detailed how Duke Nukem: Forever became "the biggest video-game that never was". The article presented some interesting reasons as to why we haven't seen Forever and stated that fans will need a miracle to see it as the company is locked in a lawsuit with Take-Two. Well, in a move that will make people happy and is surely something of a miracle, 3D Realms, the studio behind Duke Nukem, have just released an update on the state of, you guessed it, Duke Nukem.
Duke Nukem: What Went Wrong?
That's the question Wired is asking in their piece on Duke Nukem: Forever, "the biggest video-game that never was." In short, it was George Broussar, the man behind the franchise, and his obsession with the latest and greatest in gaming technology. Never satisfied with his project, and believing that 3D Realms funding could never run out, Broussar's perfectionism drove his company into the ground and resulted in one of the most legendary (at the very least, the most drawn-out) disasters in video-game history. It's a fascinating story really, and well worth the read. So if you've got some time (it's a bit lengthy) and are interested in just why exactly we will probably never see another Duke Nukem game, click on over to Wired and find out.

ZOMG 2 NEW SCREENS WAIT WUT

Wow, for any other game this wouldn't be news at all. I mean 2 new screens?! Jesus christ stop the presses! But oddly (or sadly) enough, any Duke Nukem Forever updates are big news. Damn you Duke, how dare you be such an immortal character! Well anyways, here's your two screens courtesy of Steve of Duke4.net by apparently completing all of Duke 3D's XBLA achievements. Go him.
Duke Nukem Trilogy
Explosive!

You know what... I honestly have no comment on this trailer. Is it a joke or did the Duke Nukem devs forget that they needed to show something at E3. You tell me... 0.o
