Fox and director James Mangold are currently developing a sequel to The Wolverine, but strangely enough, Hugh Jackman isn't on board yet.
Man of Steel's Henry Cavill will return in the upcoming Batman vs Superman film, which will also signal the start of a larger DC cinematic universe. We already know that Wonder Woman will make an appearance in some capacity, and now Cavill has revealed which character he wants to see next.
Watch how Alan Taylor and the artists at The Third Floor created the VFX for Thor: The Dark world in a behind-the-scenes featurette.
It's no secret that Marvel likes to fill their movies with as many Easter Eggs and cameos as they can possibly manage. With Thor: The Dark World already out for several weeks, it seemed like most of the Marvel Universe connections have been discovered. Unless...
You probably noticed that in front of Thor: The Dark World, Marvel Studios had a fancy new logo. It was certainly a surprise considering we've been watching the old one for over ten years (holy crap we're old). The new sequence kept the familiar comic book pages look, but added some 3D effects, as well as studio fanfare by Brian Tyler. Perhaps it's a metaphor for Marvel's ambitious new plan?
Ant-Man is slated to be one of the big superhero franchise films of 2015, but unlike Avengers: Age of Ultron or Batman vs Superman, we know pretty much nothing about it. Production is slated to begin in early 2014, which means that if Marvel wants to stay on schedule, they'd better be hard at work assembling their cast.
Fox Fantastic Four reboot is having some trouble getting off the ground, so it's no surprise that the studio has decided to push the release date back a little. The film will now be hitting theaters on June 19, 2015, three months later than its original March 6 date.
Batman vs Superman is nearing production, and there are still more than a few mysteries as to how this movie is being put together. One of the biggest is what new look Batman will be getting, especially after just how iconic Chris Nolan and his team made the previous costume. It seems perennial Bat-fan Kevin Smith has gotten an early look at the suit, and he really digs it.
Three new images from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 have been released, and one of them is Fireman-Spidey. That's going to make an interesting action figure.
A deleted scene from The Wolverine shows off that classic yellow and black costume that didn't make it into the final cut of the film. I don't know about you, but after watching the clip, I actually wish they had left it in.
