Matt hates these, I tolerate them, either way here's another trailer for the Iron Man 3 trailer. This one doesn't have any big reveals, unless you count the fact that Don Cheadle is back as Rhodey. Give it a watch below, the full trailer is set to drop late tonight or early tomorrow. We'll definitely be posting that, so check back then to get your first taste of Marvel's Phase Two.
Iron Man fans and comic nerds rejoice! Ben Kingsley will be The Mandarin in Iron Man 3 after all. When Ben Kingsley was announced as a villain for Iron Man 3, speculation ran wild as to what character he would play. The Mandarin? MODOK? Evil Gandhi? Well, thanks to recently released footage and some set photos posted over at Entertainment Weekly, now we know for sure: it’s definitely the Mandarin. Or possibly Gimli. That is one serious beard, guys.
It's not much, but 17 seconds of footage from the first Iron Man 3 trailer have been released via their official Facebook page. These trailers for trailers are getting a little ridiculous, but who am I kidding, I'll take any Iron Man I can get. The full trailer will be released on Tuesday, until then, check out the preview below!
Let's be honest, it has been way to long since we've heard anything about the Deadpool movie. The last update we got, attached director Tim Miller had shot some test footage for the film. Since then, it's been dead silence, leading many to presume that the test footage led nowhere and the film was canned. Luckily, it looks like there might be some hope after all.
Classic newspaper comic Family Circus will be getting a film adaptation from the writers of Disney's The Game Plan, Nichole Millard and Kathryn Price. The film, in the works at 20th Century Fox and Walden Media, will take the late Bil Keane's long-running series to the big screen.
It's no secret that Marvel is spitting out movies at a pace usually reserved for NFL stars fathering children. In the last five years, they've released two Iron Man movies, one for the Hulk, a Punisher movie, two X-Men movies, a Thor movie, a Captain America movie, a Ghost Rider movie, a Spider-Man movie, and of course the Grown-Ups of all comic book movies The Avengers. That's eleven movies in five years, over half of which came out in the last two years alone.
A fresh new photo straight from the set of Iron Man 3 has arrived, and it's got not one, but two Iron Men. Here we see a shiny new version of the Iron Man armor standing next to what looks like Iron Patriot. Shooting resumed in Dania Beach, Florida on Octotber 1 after a six week hiatus due to Robert Downey Jr.'s broken ankle. We're glad to see that Tony Stark is back and fighting fit! Is that Captain America in that red, white and blue shell? We'll find out on May 3, 2013 when Iron Man 3 is scheduled for release. See the full photo below.
Well here's a weird bit of movie history. Slashfilm has uncovered this previously unreleased trailer for the original Sam Raimi Spider-Man film. The most striking thing about it is the fact that it features Peter Parker with mechanical webshooters, unlike the organic webs that the final cut featured. Give it a watch below.
Fox has just announced that Mark Millar, writer of Kick-Ass and a number of Marvel titles, is being brought on as their "Marvel movie consultant." Having probably lost the rights to Daredevil, this means that Millar will be overseeing the next few X-Men films, as well as the Fantastic 4 reboot, which will feature Chronicle director Josh Trank at the helm.
Kick-Ass 2 is in full production mode, there's a lot of cool behind-the-scenes looks to show for it. Read on for our first look at Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars, Donald Faison as Doctor Gravity, and Chloë Grace Moretz getting her smooch on as Hit-Girl. Minor spoilers follow, be warned!
