TF2: Mann vs. Machine Update Features New Tours of Duty

Considering Team Fortress 2 has been a part of my gaming hobby for the better part of four years, it's safe to say that even though I love it, it does feel a little stale once in a while. That being said, Mann vs. Machine is easily the most fun I've had with a game this year. After three runs through the initial Tour of Duty, I'm ready for more. An update, going live today, is about to give us just that, adding two new Tours, as well as some brand new loot to add to your collection. Read on for details on both.

Watch the Scout from 'Team Fortress 2' Fight the Witch from 'Left 4 Dead'

This is a video of the Scout from TF2 having a fight with the Witch and a bunch of zombies from L4D2. This is pretty much the exact reason Source Filmmaker exists. More please.

Mann vs Machine is Live! It's Robot Killing Time!

Day Three update! MvM mode live! Too excited to form coherent setences! Join us on the 8th-Circuit server (t8c.game.nfoservers.com:27015), let's kill some robots!

Mann vs Machine Day Two: United We Can Fight the Metal Menace!

It's Day 2 of the Mann vs Machine  update, and Valve has released a bunch of info on the upgrade mechanics. In between waves of bots, you'll be able to upgrade your weapons and abilities, including a minigun that can shoot down projectiles and an extra mini sentry. You'll also have access to a canteen, a new equippable action slot item which will provide a one-time super boost to your damage, invulnerability, or a number of other interesting effects.

All Signs Point to (Robot) Life, 'TF2' Update to be Mann vs Machine?

It's all but confirmed people, Gray Mann is coming, and he's bringing his robots. If you'll remember the recent TF2 site update, Valve was hinting at a third Mann brother, a guy named Gray. Since Redmond and Blutarch are the founders of Red and Blue team, one can infer that perhaps Gray has got a colored crew all his own. Then, the will of their father was found online. Now, a new webcomic has emerged that not only shows his face, but reveals his awesome (eagle-filled) backstory!

Valve Hinting at a Third 'TF2' Team?

When will Team Fortress 2 stop being so intriguing? Never probably hopefully. Today, Valve continues you to maddeningly enigmatic. A very observant NeoGAF user noticed that on the official TF2 site, there's a new bloodstain on the logo. Clicking that blood links to the following letter, perhaps hinting at a third team... ?

'Meet the Pyro' is Here, and it's Delightfully Disturbing

It's. Finally. Here! The last video in the 'Meet the Team' series has finally dropped, and it made me giggle. It's certainly not as ambitious on a storytelling level as some of the previous shorts, but this one definitely gets some kudos for completely surprising me. It's pretty ridiculous stuff. Check it out below.

TF2: Pyromania Update - Day 1

DOOMSDAY IS HERE!!!  And never have I looked forward to it more.  The newest update to TF2 from the guys over at Valve starts today.  What's it called? Pyromania.  When does the final "Meet the..." video come out?  This week!  Yes, I am excited.

Steam Trading Out of Beta, Supports TF2, Portal 2, and Spiral Knights

The Steam trading system is officially out of beta. The new system will now allow all Steam users to openly trade in-game items from TF2, Portal 2, and the free to play MMO Spiral Knights for other items (from any of the games), as well as for unredeemed Steam games. The beta was apparently a huge success, with over a million items traded during the testing period.

TF2: Pre-Order Deus Ex, Get the "The Manno-Technology Bundle"

If you're wondering from where you should be getting your copy of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, this might just help. One can scamper over to the Deus Ex: Human Revolution's Steam page to order, or read on for some details on the items.
