lightning or mutation? Hero or villain? shooter or smasher? Which one will be better? you will probably get a better answer flipping a coin than actually weighing the pros and cons of the trailers and info.
which game will win? heads or tails?

The Archives / Gaming Discussion / Re: Favorite level in a game?

i would say one of my favorite levels is the entire game of star wars the force unleashed as the time it takes to beat the game in its entirety is about the same as it would take to beat any single level in most other games.

Indigo prophecy i forgive because its still an amazing game, but for games like condemned and RE its unforgivable. i dont even know whats happening on the screen because i'm too busy staring at one spot awaiting the next button i have to press. and sometimes you only have one in the middle of a cutscene you totally werent prepared for and you are forced to watch up to a minute of cutscene again just to get to that part. there is only one word to describe the feeling i get when these quicktime events present themselves to me: rarglegargle

The Archives / Gaming Discussion / Fallout 3- The Pitt (in the pitts)

so the pitt DLC was supposed to come out today for the 360 and PC. I have been playing it currently on the 360 and was severely dissapointed to learn that the expansion was pulled from the live marketplace after only a few hours because 150mb of data was missing from the file, rendering the game unplayable. this really grates my cheese, as its not even bethesda's fault but rather microsofts for having unstable servers that corrupted the games data. now bethesda is saying they dont know when there will be a patched version ready for (re) release. is it just me or does it start to seem like microsoft is actively trying to screw people over every chance they get?

ITS OFFICIAL. this months game informer tells us that this is indeed a sequel, taking place 10 years later. all the little sisters are gone until big sister kidnaps them and brings them back to rapture. however the little sisters are not something to be coveted by you, not something to fight big daddies in order to have... BECAUS YOU ARE A BIG DADDY. with a drill for one hand, and plasmids at your disposal in the other, you roam rapture as not just A big daddy, but rather the FIRST big daddy. more info to come.

there are an awful lot of iphone games out there, and many of the good ones are not on the top lists that you find. i personally am a big fan of Idracula (since its latest update which makes it awesome), 7 cities (a kickass tower defense game), aurora feint 1: the beginning, and fieldrunners.
free or paid for, what are you favorites?

i think by "return" they mean the gamer, not character, since you have multiple endings from the first, one of which shows a long "happy" life. i keep hearing rumors that its a prequel, and i think that may be more interesting, what with atlas and ryan gone who is there left that is interesting?

raimi is a notorious over-collaborator, which is why 3 was so darn bad. if you look at his original script and ideas 90% of the crap in that film wasnt there (especially emo peter.) since raimi and macguire are contracted for 4 and 5 they are for sure, but kirsten dunst hasnt signed on and has many times said she despises the franchise. so odds are looking at 4 moving on to gwen stacey?

you know it will be good because blizzard refuses to release anything short of amazing. take for example starcraft ghost. it got scrapped in the last stages of development because they felt it wasnt fun enough to be a blizzard game. they would rather take a huge loss of scrapping a project than release something below stellar.

considering that i've been playing starcraft 1 again for the last three months, i reckon they dont even need to improve that much to make the sequel a hit...

idonno im on my second playthrough right now i think they took the things that worked for 4 and kept 'em and threw out the things that didnt. its starting to seem that im the only one who feels that standing still to shoot is a good idea...

WOW im on chapter 6-1 now and is it just me or (dont worry no spoilers) was the 5-3 boss super irritating? Ive dug all the boss battles up to this point, but part one of the battle was 100% pointless and the second half was just irritating! other than that im really enjoying the game
