 have a nvidia graphics card and external tv tuner card in my computer..how can i capture movies or tv serials from tv in my computer? please help..

A program like Windows Media Center, which comes with Vista and Win 7, has that feature built in. You just need to follow the steps it gives you to configure your TV Tuner to work with the program and it's pretty simple from there. What OS are you running? If you are using XP, you will need to use a 3rd party app, but even that won't be a huge problem.
