Risk sure is fun, but I think I like Chinese checkers best, it's a lot easier to get people together and play a full game. I'm more of a card player in the end.

Risk is awesome
I love renaming countries when I conquer them, and forcing everybody else to use those names
Can't really get a full game for it though D: Pit is another good game that is easier to finish

risk is incredibly fun, and so is the feudal japanese version of axis & allies, called Shogun (or samurai swords depending on which version you buy)

after a while, my sister and I turned monopoly into a "make the bank lose all its money" game. so we'd mortgage a bunch of property to minimize the amount we give to the bank, then by mutual agreement, would steadily conduct "bank robberies" when we felt like it (but you still had to strategize kinda b/c you wanted to get the better properties, so wouldn't agree to robbing the bank right before the other player hit the most expensive side)
