Thoughts on the upcoming "superhero" movie? I haven't read the comic (yet), but from what I've seen from this trailer and the one from Comic-Con, it looks AMAZING!

kinda reminds me of a better-executed Wanted but more dark comedy.

also, no one told me this was directed by the Layer Cake guy (and Stardust, which I'll have to admit I liked better than Layer Cake). and wow he was a producer on Snatch and Lock Stock.

haven't read the comic either but the trailers look good, so I fully expect epic action if not ass-kicking and name-taking

it certainly looks kick-ass (no pun intended) and a 10 or so year old girl saying c**t and killing guys with ease will certainly start a fan boy craze

Yeah, and after reading his ridiculously arrogant and ignorant post on why "video games can never be art," I have lost a fair bit of respect for the man. It seems like he's so highly regarded, that he's become accustomed to being able to say whatever he wants and having people go along with it. He shows a general disinterest in stepping outside of his box, and as such, he really should stay away from gaming and films like Kick-Ass if he's not willing to meet them half-way.
