The Astronauts Announce Their First Title: A Weird Fiction Horror Detective Story

A number of the higher-ups at Bulletstorm studio People Can Fly left to form their own company last year. The new studio, The Astronauts, has finally announced their first title. a "weird fiction horror" game, set to be released for the PC later this year.

Weird fiction is a style of horror pioneered by H.P. Lovecraft, and if that name rings a bell, you're probably already intrigued. The game is The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, and follows a, "detective with the supernatural ability to visualize scenes of lethal crimes." Said detective travels to a secluded mountain time to investigate the disappearance of a young boy.
