Black Ops Easter Eggs
So Black Ops came out on Tuesday and other than the awesome multiplayer (I haven't quite gotten around to that story mode yet), Treyarch dropped a few Easter Eggs for players to find.
I found this out via Kotaku. The first Easter Egg you'll find is that you can actually get out of your seat. To do that, you kinda click the right and left triggers on your controller (I believe those are the 'shoot' and 'equipment' options for PC users). After that, proceed to walk around the room and you'll find a computer terminal where you can plug in words and numbers. Via Kotaku:
Once you get to the terminal here are some commands:
Type in Zork to launch Zork
Type in DOA to unlock Dead Ops Arcade
Type in 3ARC UNLOCK to unlock all three zombie mode maps
Type in 3ARCH INTEL to unlock all of the intel, but miss out on an achievement
WHAT!?! An Easter Egg within an Easter Egg within an Easter Egg!?!
But yeah. Zork is a text based game while Dead Ops Arcade is a top-down game. Try em' out and tell us what you think in the comments.
On a side note, within the first day of sales, Black Ops generated $360 million in the US and UK - 5.6 million copies, making it the biggest entertainment launch in history. Cool.
Dead Ops Arcade is amazing, I probably would have paid for it if it had been an XBLA download or something
Has nobody noticed. On the campaign level "WMD", when you get trapped in the room in the terminal after you jumped off the cliff, in the corner there are X-Rays of Zombies and Hell Hounds. Its pretty easy to find.
