'Give Me a Call' Says Bryan Cranston in Response to Lex Luthor Casting Buzz
It’s no secret that the blogosphere has been buzzing about Bryan Cranston being a great choice for Lex Luthor in the Man of Steel sequel. After all, when one thinks of a conniving baldy these days, Walter White of Breaking Bad certainly comes to mind. But what does Cranston think of all the Lex Luthor talk? Now we know.
Cranston told Metro of the casting buzz,
Give me a call. I like Lex Luthor. I think he’s misunderstood. He’s a loveable, sweet man.
Nothing is more loveable than Cranston’s wicked sense of humor. But someone close to the actor isn’t laughing – his wife. Said Cranston,
She wasn’t so keen on the bald head. The bald head ages a man. It’s just that she didn’t know me that way, and the last six years it’s all of a sudden like sleeping with a stranger — who was less exciting than her own husband. So I don’t blame her for being upset.
While it seems unanimous that Bryan Cranston would make a wonderfully devilish Luthor, only time will tell if Mrs. Cranston must once again shade her eyes from the sharp gleam of her husband’s shiny scalp.
The Man of Steel sequel is likely to shoot next year and scheduled for release summer 2015.
