Fans of HBO's irreverant detective/comedy series, Bored to Death, need no longer be sad about the series cancellation after only 3 seasons. It looks like you'll all be getting some (possible) closure with an upcoming feature film continuation of the story.

The news officially revealed yesterday by The Hollywood Reporter. According to that source, the movie will be produced and written by show head-runner Jonathon Ames, and will of course see the return of Jason Schwartzman, Zach Galifianakis and Ted Danson. The film's description reads simply, "Jonathan, Ray, and George reunite to fight crime, commit crime, lose their minds and fail at love in a Bored to Death feature-length slapstick adventure."

Obviously this is still early on, so no word yet on when it might be released or through what mediums, but keep an eye out for more information, Bored to Death fans.
