If Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen weren't enough for you, X-Men: Days of Future Past might be picking up yet another actor from the previous continuity. Now that Bryan Singer is on board, who was behind the original casting of Hugh Jackman, one could assume that Wolverine might also be on the radar.

According to THR, a Hugh Jackman appearance is already in talks. There's no details as of yet on how big the role would be, but considering that Wolverine is a major part of the comic book version of the story, I wouldn't be surprised to see Jackman taking on a rather substantial role. This is especially so considering that he could end up playing two roles in the film, a present and future version, depending on how they handle the story.

The classic X-Men comic sees a future where a Brotherhood-led assassination of a senator causes anti-mutant hysteria, leading to Sentinels rounding up and imprisoning the mutant population. An older Kitty Pryde transfers her mind to her younger version, in order to warn the X-Men about the disaster.

So who's next? Could Ellen Page as the previous trilogy's Kitty Pryde be the next to reprise her role?
