The 2010 Spike TV Video Game Awards yielded a surprising number of announcements and debut trailers, including a new Elder Scrolls and of course, Mass Effect 3. Read on for the highlights and links to the trailery goodness.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The sequel to Oblivion, now revealed to be titled Skyrim, is due out on November 11, 2011. Until then, enjoy a nice little story teaser.

Mass Effect 3

The third entry in Commander Shepard's space epic is tentatively scheduled for Holiday 2011. The trailer features some pretty ridiculous visual detail which I hope (probably unrealistically) are actually in the game.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Naughty Dog's latest cinematic adventure has been given a release date of November 1, 2011. This newest trailer extends the previous teaser that had been released.

Resistance 3

Resistance 3 shows off some of its gameplay in this trailer, and a release date of September 6, 2011.

inSane

Guillermo del Toro has teamed up with THQ and Volition to put together a horror game. Actual production has apparently not even started, so don't expect this one for a few years.

Prototype 2

Its 2012 release date is still far off, but Prototype 2 is now official with this debut teaser.

Batman Arkham City

Hugo Strange in Arkham City? Hooolllllllyyyy crap.

Kratos in Mortal Kombat

An exclusive character for the PS3.

Portal 2

A cool little teaser featuring the co-op robots.

TES V: Skyrim seems like a poor choice for a subtitle, definitely not as compelling as 'Oblivion'

Mass Effect 3: Looks really really nice

Uncharted 3: YES

Resistence 3: Actually looks really good

inSane:Excited by the prospect, but going to have to withold judgement until I see more information. Also, does the title remind anyone else almost immediately of inFamous?

Prototype 2:Looks pretty good, definitely digging the graphical upgrade

Batman Arkham City: DOUBLE YES

Kratos in Mortal Kombat: Pretty cool, but it's not the factor that's going to convince me to get the game

Portal 2: Always happy to see more Portal 2 stuff, but come on, this trailer barely shows anything. It is nice to see the developing personalities of the two robots, but it's nothing we weren't already aware of.

So there's my thoughts for anyone that cares
