The New Monopoly Game Piece Has Been Revealed

Trying to revamp their classic game, Hasbro gave Monopoly fans the opportunity to choose a new game piece to replace an existing one. The process took place online where people had the chance to vote on two polls. Some of the new token choices were a diamond ring, a guitar, a toy robot, and a helicopter. After weeks of voting, the cat came out on top with a healthy 31% of the vote.

Not everyone was ecstatic with the revamping, a company in Harrisburg PA took to YouTube to convince the public to save the wheelbarrow token. Although, the final results ended with the iron being replaced.

The new Monopoly game, Gold Token, will be on sale in February, and will include the new cat token.
