Non-Euclidian Puzzler 'Antichamber' Finally Gets a Release Date

Antichamber is an odd game. It's the sort of game that's brought up often when discussing release dates and delays concerning indie games, problems that often arise because these games are being developed by small teams and being published by small companies (or, sometimes, by the developers themselves). So it's nice to see that those conversations might be a bit more hushed in the near future, because Antichamber is being released on the PC on Janurary 31.

Releasing through Valve's popular Steam platform, the game promises to be a head-scratcher with its mind-bending visuals, M.C. Escher-inspired level design and general atmosphere of “what the fuck is going on here?” The phrase “non-Euclidean geometry” gets thrown around quite a bit whenever something is written about this game in the press (as you can see by the lovely title of this post), although one glance at the Wikipedia page for that phrase and my brain slowly started to boil.

In any case, designer Alexander Bruce has certainly created something special with Antichamber, and I can't wait to get my hands on it.
