Ridley Scott's 'Exodus' Adds Three Familiar Faces to Its Biblical Cast
While Expendables 3 and Guardians of the Galaxy have both staked a claim to the Coolest Ensemble on the Planet title, Exodus is quietly and efficiently becoming the dark horse of this completely unofficial competition. See, Ridley Scott's casting team is not messing around. With Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton already secured, they've just added a Breaking Bad alum, a Soggy Bottom Boy, and alien-annihilating Ellen Ripley herself.
Let's all get excited, guys. Because whether or not you believe in the Bible, Scott's Exodus is going to be gnarly. (And yes, it's that Exodus — the one with Moses, and the Israelites, and that big, splitting Red Sea).
Sigourney Weaver and John Turturro will reportedly play Ramses' parents while Aaron Paul will play a Hebrew slave. As previously announced, Bale will be Exodus' Moses and Edgerton our Ramses.
Exodus is set for a December 2014 release.
