'Stage Fright' is a Movie About a Movie About a Movie

Stage Fright is a horror movie about the making of another movie; a movie that's being assembled from found footage found in the fictional world of said horror movie. It's a movie about a movie about a movie. Someone hit the Inception button please.

The film centers around a high school where a student was accidentally killed while playing the hangman in a play. Twenty-five years later, a series of similar events began to occur, documented by a group of students who snuck into the school. Now, a group of filmmakers have found that footage and are turning it into a movie. Stage Fright follows the making of that movie.

Yeah, my head hurts a little too, in the best way possible. Check out the trailer below. The film doesn't have an official premiere date yet, but the filmmakers are hoping for a 2012 theatrical release. I really, really hope they can get it out there, because i can't wait to see how this story fits together.
