Tron Stuff: Photos, Sequels, TV Shows and Rides

Lot's of new Tron stuff has been going on lately, for all of you who just can't wait for this movie to come out. First off, we have three photos from the upcoming movie trailer, which will be attached to Alice in Wonderland, coming out later tonight. You can see all three below. But wait, that's not all. After the break check out more of Disney's plans for the Tron franchise.

Firstly, check out these three pics from the upcoming trailer which gradually follow Sam Flynn into the old Flynn’s Arcade, now beaten-up and abandoned.

Secondly, and perhaps not so surprisingly, Disney already has plans to continue the Tron series well after this one is done. Disney suits are currently putting a third and perhaps even a fourth film into motion, hoping to cash in on a Tron trilogy.

In addition, a Tron animated series is in the works to be broadcast on the Disney Channel, and geared towards kids aged 6-14. A pilot has yet to be green-lit though, and so the earliest we can expect to see this is late 2011/early 2012. Disney also plans on releasing a 10-part Tron mini-series leading up to it, premiering on Disney XD in fall 2011.

Lastly, Disney will be implementing the franchise into their themeparks. A "fully fledged experience" is being planned for a few years down the line. In addition, a "Flynn" makeover will be suitably given to the arcade area next to Space Mountain.

Tron Legacy is currently set for December 17 release date.
