'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Will Feature Sentinels, But You Knew That
In an interview with SFX, Mark Millar — newly appointed Fox Creative Consultant and apparent Minister of Obviousness — confirmed that moviegoers can expect to see robots and time travel in X-Men: Days of Future Past, the First Class sequel based on the classic comics storyline about robots and time travel. He also speculated that Lincoln would revolve around "a war, possibly between one or more states," and that Anna Karenina "might take place in Russia." Well, maybe he didn't, but it’s a slow day and it would have been amusing if he had.
Millar described the reveal as "no spoiler on my part," displaying the kind of understatement that in most superhero films would be replaced with an explosion of some sort. He then returned to his consulting duties, no doubt calling for more arms to be ripped off and 30% more instances of someone being called a bitch.
