E3: EA's UFC Game Confirmed for Spring 2014

As part of their "Ignite" initiative, EA has aquired the exclusive license to develop and publish UFC games. The upcoming title was showcased during EA's Monday press conference, with UFC President Dana White and EA Sports general manager Dean Richards in attendance.

E3: Respawn's 'Titanfall' Revealed, Gameplay Demo Released

Titanfall has been one of the big ticket items during this year's E3, making appearances at both Microsoft and EA's press conferences (as well as a series of lovely giant robots). It'll be Respawn Entertainment's first game, although the minds behind it have already made their mark on the gaming landscape, redefining multiplayer FPS with Modern Warfare.

E3: Cops Called to Shut Down the Ouya

According to IGN, the Entertainment Software Association (the people who run E3) called the Los Angeles police in attempts to show down the Ouya gathering outside of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

E3: PlayStation 4 HDD Will Be 500GB; Other Models Possible in the Future

Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation 4 will ship with a 500GB hard drive.

E3: PlayStation 4 Will Be Region Free

 

Sony Worldwide Studio boss Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed that the PlayStation 4 will be region free.  Just like all the Sony consoles before it, the PS4 will give us the freedom to play any PlayStation title that is offered for the system. 

E3: 'Final Fantasy XIV' Coming to the PS4

With Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn headed to the PC and PlayStation 3 platforms, Square Enix announced at its E3 press conference that it would also be coming to the PlayStation 4.

E3: PlayStation4's Cloud Gaming Service to Launch in 2014

Sony has confirmed they will be launching their new cloud gaming service in 2014. Sony Computer Entertainment president Andrew House announced this during the company’s E3 press conference.

E3: PlayStation Plus Subscription Required for PS4 Online Play

Gaming online with the PlayStation 4 will be a little bit harder than the PlayStation 3's online play.  Sony has confirmed that gamers will be required to have a PlayStation Plus subscription in order to play PlayStation4 games online.  Currently a yearly subscription is being offered for $50, or $5 a month for a month-to-month subscription.

E3: 'Last Guardian' Is Still in Active Development

Clarification has arrived on Sony executive Jack Tretton’s comment on The Last Guardian being on “hiatus,” Sony’s head of worldwide studios Shuhei Yoshida told Kotaku that Tretton’s comment was not completely accurate.

E3: Kingdom Hearts 3 Revealed for PS4 [Updated With New Info]

The wait is almost over Denizens of the Light! During the Sony Press Conference at this year’s E3, Tetsuya Nomura introduced two long awaited games. One of those games, which has been anticipated for years, is the release of Kingdom Hearts 3. That is right fans! It is now... in development!
