I've been following the next generation news pretty closely and even I'm confused by a lot of what's being said. Keep in mind that everything at this point is still speculation and rumors, so everything you hear should be taken with a grain of salt. That being said, the latest information on the next Xbox comes from VGLeaks who share some interesting information.
Attention DuckTales fans, Capcom has just announced a new DuckTales game! The video game titan unveiled DuckTales Remastered, WayForward’s remake of the classic 1989 8-bit NES original. The announcement was just made this past weekend at Pax East, a video game convention that takes place annually in Boston.
So here's something. Looks like Mass Effect 3 producers Casey Hudson and Michael Gamble both tweeted seperate screenshots from Mass Effect 3. Screenshots of things that aren't yet in the game, leading some to believe that these may be indications of upcoming DLC. Check out the pictures for yourself down below!
When a video game’s main character becomes bigger than the video game itself, you enter into a new territory. It’s almost like joining the Mount Rushmore of video game characters; being enshrined with the likes of Pac-Man, Mario, Link, Sonic and Gordon Freeman. These are video game characters who have been around and seen a lot. They were around when video game graphics still left a lot to be desired.
Xbox Live for Free? This is madness! No, it's probably just a marketing strategy to get people to hopefully subscribe.
Realistically not a lot more needs to be said. You can now, thanks to Bethesda and Microsoft, purchase an arrow to the knee for 240 Microsoft points. Whoop-dee-F@#$ing-doo!
I think I speak for all of us at the 8th when I say we like free stuff. I figured you guys and gals probably do too, so if you're in need of a new computer and like video games, you might want to check out Microsoft's fancy schmancy little offer.
Starting today, Microsoft is selling their 250GB Xbox 360 Holiday Bundle. If you don't own a 360 yet and are looking to pick one up, you might be interested in this pretty solid package.
And it's apparently supposed to be released on November 4th. Would've expected it a little bit later, but I guess kiddies can beg their mommies and daddies for one before Thanksgiving weekend.
Yes, you read that right. According to a blog post my Microsoft's Majro Nelson, the price of Xbox Live will be going up come this November. For US residents, the price of a 12 month subscription will be going up from $50 to $60, 3 months from $20 to $25 and 1 month from $8 to $10. More info after the jump.
